Why I Won't Read Your Article

It's nothing personal--really. Your article just didn't grab me. And let's face it, there are LOTS of articles out there to choose from. So if yours doesn't make my top ten list, don't take it personally. Just take a bit of advice.

For the past few months, I've been building my new consulting business, helping small businesses get launched, with business plans, organizational development, and marketing advice. Local at first, then a friend suggested it was time to think bigger.

So I created a blog, started writing, and began submitting my articles to other content publishers. And, because I want to fill my blog with some good content, I started looking for articles from other authors to post.

That was interesting. I'd be happy to share some specific thoughts on what's been working, and what hasn't...feel free to email me for a complete copy of this article. --- Nancy

Hello my dear, Jackson here.

You invited me from my blog Summerford Sums It Up, so I decided to come and visit.

Interesting tidbits, these, that should be helpful for potential writers--of articles, or whatever.

I have come to the conclusion that you probably do understand some of what marketing is all about; I'd suggest that anyone interested in putting out material for fun or profit read this blog entry, especially, "What is Your Point?"

So often, I find in marketing that the point is hidden by the cuteness of the posting. As Snoopy the Beagle, of Peanuts fame says, "Arggghhhhh!"

What is the purpose of marketing other than to influence a decision?

Did these people never go to school?

YeGads! I can't believe some of the new marketing campaigns in the New Year!

At any rate, I'm impressed with your knowledge and wish you a large degree of success with your writing.

By the way, no form 18's here! (If you're a real writer and understand form and editing, you will understand why you don't want to receive a form 18.)

Perhaps not a Form 18, but the Form 26 makes it all worthwhile, no? ;-)
